My Background
Aloha! I’m Charlene Gaylord Shires, Founder of the Keystone Effect. I started organizing very early on. I can remember fixing the cans at the grocery store or clothes at the mall. After High School, I pursued my Interior Design degree and received a Certification as an Interior Decorator. My career path took me into the Medical Device industry which then gave me the opportunity to learn Lean Manufacturing. I trained with the best in Canada as well as in Japan and become a Certified Lean-Agile Blackbelt Champion as well as a Scrum Master. Spending time in Japan was a life changing experience. Upon my return from Japan, I picked up a little book called "Spark Joy" by Marie Kondo and decided to explore the KonMari Method®️.
After spending over a decade as a Medical Device Professional in Silicon Valley, I decided to pursue my childhood dream and share my talents. I am now a KonMari Master Consultant so I too can "Spark Joy" across the world.
My goal is to not only bring you "Joy" at home, but to bring you "Lean" at work. I would like to be your Keystone, providing you the strength and balance between your home and workplace.
